Gospel Quartet to Appear Locally
If variety is the spice of life, then the Dartts are the perfect seasoning for the appetites of gospel music fans. Without a doubt, there is not another group in gospel music who sings as broad a variety of musical styles as the Dartts, including but not limited to the sounds of traditional, western, southern, country, Africa, South America, Caribbean, Hawaii, contemporary, jazz, bluegrass and even an Irish jig. There smooth blend of heart felt presentation makes them a favorite of folks from the age of 1 to 100.
The Dartts write all of their own music. Tracy Dartt is the author of the very popular gospel song, “God On The Mountain”. This and many of his other songs have been recorded by some of the worlds top gospel singers, songs like “The Last Sunday”, “With Him”, and “Your Blesser Aint Never Been Blessed”, to name a few. The group consists of Tracie, Sharon and Stone Mountain Dartt, and BJ Spear (from the Billy Spear family of Orlando Florida). The Dartts travel full time throughout the USA and Canada doing around 200 concerts a year in churches, school, concerts hall, fairs, prison, etc. The Dartts newest CD entitled “Brand New Feeling” featuring some of his own songs, as well as several Dartt written songs including the very first song Tracie Dartt ever authored “Brand new feeling”.
