Court rules it is illegal to ask someone if they are a homosexual

The U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled that it is illegal for sites such as Roomamtes.com to ask if a person is “gay or straight”. In their ruling they equated asking someone if they are gay to asking them about their color or race. This judgment is another attempt by Satan to further blur the line between what is a “choice” and what is “not a choice”. No one chooses their race, family, nationality, handicap or color (except maybe Michael Jackson). But homosexuality is a choice. Homosexuality is defined by the person you “choose” to have sex with. When someone “chooses” to violate God clear teaching and have sex with someone of the same gender they “choose” the label of homosexual. By requiring that roommate searching sites not be able to properly screen candidates we are giving sexual deviants open access to our youth who may be coerced into a sinful, hate filled, unnatural relationship. This also opens the door for it to become illegal to ask others about who they “choose” to have sex with whether it is with children, animals, relatives, ect. It is my prayer that we can get back to the day when courts judged people according to the existing law and were not creators of the law.

McDonald's Coming Out Of The Closet

McDonald's has signed on to a nationwide effort to promote "gay" and "lesbian" business ventures.

According to McDonald’s CEO Jim Skinner, McDonald’s will aggressively promote the homosexual agenda. In remarks on McDonald's Web site concerning the company becoming a member of the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC), Skinner wrote: "Being a socially responsible organization is a fundamental part of who we are. We have an obligation to use our size and resources to make a difference in the world … and we do."

The company gave an undisclosed amount of money to the NGLCC in return for being recognized as a major promoter of the homosexual agenda. In return, NGLCC placed Richard Ellis, vice president of communications of McDonald’s USA, on the NGLCC Board of Directors.

Ellis was quoted as saying: "I'm thrilled to join the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce team and ready to get to work. I share the NGLCC's passion for business growth and development within the LGBT community, and I look forward to playing a role in moving these important initiatives forward."

McDonald's refused to comment to World Net Daily on the placement of its executive on the board of the "gay" advocacy organization but did send an e-mail confirming the corporation's support for the agenda of the homosexual business lobby.

"McDonald's is indeed a Corporate Partner and Organizational Ally of NGLCC. Our vice president of U.S. communications, Richard Ellis, was recently elected to its board of directors," said Heidi M. Barker, senior director of media relations for McDonald’s. NGLCC describes itself as promoting the LGBT community first and always, including same sex marriage.

NGLCC gives credit to sponsors such as McDonald's for its financial and other support that helps in its work. "Through the commitment of our corporate partners, the NGLCC has been able to advance the ideas and causes of the LGBT business community," the Chamber said.

The Redefining of Sin

The Bible tells us in I Peter 3:11 that we are to “eschew evil, and do good” but we are seeing a redefining of what is good and evil in our society. One of the many things I love about my Bible is that it is black & white on the issues of sin, God never leaves us guessing about what he expects from us. The problem is that prideful man does not like being told when they are wrong. So to avoid what they perceive as an accusatory finger they redefine sin by their own understanding;

What Hillary calls a “miss-speak”, God calls a lie.

When Obama says “that’s just how black churches act”, God calls it racism and hate.

What McCain calls “reaching across the aisle”, God calls compromising the Word of God.

What the abortionists call “a women’s right to choose”, God calls murder

What the youth call “making-out”, God calls fornication.

What the schools teach as “self-worth”, God calls sinful pride

In short we can call sin anything we want but in the end the result is the same. Romans 3:26 says, “The wages of sin is death”. Wages are what we earn or deserve. But the good news of the gospel is that there is also a free gift from God – Jesus Christ. This gift can save anyone even a politician who has made a life and built a platform on sin. Where sin causes death Jesus brings life. Where sin tears apart Jesus reunites. Jesus told us “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Won’t you accept him as your savior today?

Third Graders Plot To Attack Teacher

In the ever mounting pile of evidence for the need of letting God back into our schools we are confronted by yet another planned attack by students in a school. This time it was third graders planning to attack their teacher. See complete story here.
This country, as well as our school system, was founded on Christian principles by Christian men and women. What worked so well for more that a hundred years has been systematically dismantled by liberal atheists while Christians sat on their hands and did nothing. Currently we are sorely lacking Christian men and women in political offices. We have many “wolfs in sheep’s clothing” bit very few Christians. None of our leading three candidates for the office of President can claim the banner of Christianity, although all three do.
It starts with standing up and being counted. Christians need to stand up and let the current politicians know that we will not support any legislation that contradicts our ultimate authority, the Word of God. Secondly we need to vote the Bible when we go to the polls. Thirdly we need more Christians to get into the fray and run for political offices, many will be chewed up and spit out by the liberal, Satan controlled media but the message will make its way through the clutter and the next generation will find the path a little clearer. And most importantly we must pray for our country and its politicians. I pray for President Bush as I Prayed for impeached President Clinton as I will pray for whoever our next President will be. I pray that they will turn their hearts to Jesus and lead this country in the spirit of Moses and Jacob. Please pray with me. We must get God back in our schools and government before it is to late.

Translation vs. Interpretation

There are many reasons why I prefer the King James Version bible over all the others. It is derived from the oldest and most popular text used by the first century church, it is the most beautiful and clearest to read and it holds the verses familiar to my childhood when I accepted Jesus as my Savior. But most of all it is because it is a Translation and not an Interpretation of the original Word of God.

What is the difference?

A Translation takes each word of the original text and rewrites it using words we can understand, in this case English words.
An Interpretation, on the other hand, reads an entire passage and the interpreter does his best to rewrite it to capture the overall theme or thought of the passage.

Why is this important?

Luke 4:4 says; “And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by EVERY WORD of God.”

Proverbs 30:5 says; “EVERY WORD of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.”

EVERY WORD is important not just the “thought” behind them. In an interpretation you lose the Words of God in a Translation they are maintained and kept pure.

Also, when you chose to read an interpretation like the NIV, NKJV, NASB, RSV, NRSV, NJB, TEV, ect., you are relying on the interpreter having perfect understanding of God’s Word. Since this is not possible it would follow that all interpretations would be flawed since their authors are all flawed.

Why Jesus Folded The Napkin

Why did Jesus fold the linen burial cloth after His resurrection?

The Gospel of John (20:7) tells us that the napkin, which was placed over the face of Jesus, was not just thrown aside like the grave clothes.

The Bible takes an entire verse to tell us that the napkin was neatly folded, and was placed at the head of that stony coffin.

Early Sunday morning, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance.

She ran and found Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved. She said, "They have taken the Lord's body out of the tomb, and I don't know where they have put Him!"

Peter and the other disciple r an to the tomb to see. The other disciple outran Peter and got there first. He stooped and looked in and saw the linen cloth lying there, but he didn't go in.

Then Simon Peter arrived and went inside. He also noticed the linen wrappings lying there, while the cloth that had covered Jesus' head was folded up and lying to the side.

Is that important? Absolutely!

Is it really significant? Yes!

In order to understand the significance of the folded napkin, you have to understand a little bit about Hebrew tradition of that day. The folded napkin had to
do with the Master and Servant, and every Jewish boy knew this tradition.

When the servant set the dinner table for the master, he made sure that it was exactly the way the master wanted it.

The table was furnished perfectly, and then the servant would wait, just out of sight, until
the master had finished eating, and the servant would not dare touch that table, until the master was finished.

Now if the master were done eating, he would rise from the table, wipe his fingers, his mouth, and clean his beard, and would wad up that napkin and toss it onto the table.

The servant would then know to clear the table. For in those days, the wadded napkin meant, "I'm done".

But if the master got up from the table, and folded his napkin, and laid it beside his plate, the servant would not dare touch the table, because..........

The folded napkin meant, "I'm coming back!"

HE IS COMING BACK!

Why Does God Allow Pain And Suffering?

A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed.

As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation.

They talked about so many things and various subjects.

When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said:

"I don't believe that God exists."

"Why do you say that?" asked the customer. "Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist.

Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people?

Would there be abandoned children?

If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain.

I can't imagine a loving God who would allow all of these things."

The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't want to start an argument.

The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop.

Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard.

He looked dirty and unkempt. The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber:

"You know what? Barbers do not exist."

"How can you say that?" asked the surprised barber.

"I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!"

"No!" the customer exclaimed. "Barbers don't exist because if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside."

"Ah, but barbers DO exist! That's what happens when people do not come to me."

"Exactly!" affirmed the customer. "That's the point! God, too, DOES exist!

That's what happens when people do not go to Him and don't look to Him for help.

That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world."
